Fence Creek Campground situated in a mixed conifer forest high above the Clark Fork of the Stanislaus River. It is located on Forest Road 6N06 off of Clark Fork Road. Turn left off of Highway 108 at Clark Fork Road, about 20 miles from the Summit Ranger Station. There are 38 sites; each site has a table and a fire ring. The main road and parking pads are dirt-surfaced. Potable water is not available. Toilets are vault-style. Fee charged for extra vehicle parking.

Summit Ranger District (HWY 108)- This campground is first-come, first-serve. On 10/05/2015, this campground will have no services and no campground fees. This campground is scheduled to close for the season on 10/12/15.
Typically, Fence Creek Campground is open May through September, weather permitting.

The Forest Service operates Fence Creek Campground and charges the following fees:
$10.00 for a single-family site
Camp in designated sites only. The number of people allowed in a single campsite is six. The maximum length of stay in any campground is 14 days. Campfire permits are not required in developed campgrounds. Do not burn plastic or metal. Please leave the area in as good (or better) condition than you found it. Often, locations destroyed by thoughtless campers must be closed to restore the area's natural health. Help ensure your favorite area remains open.

Vault toilets are available in the campground. No RV dump station available.
