Agassa Lake


Agassa Lake is a small lake that is ideal for day trips or an overnight at the back country campsite. The lake contains walleye and perch.

General Information

Directions:

Agassa Lake is located 17 miles northwest of Ely on County road 116 /Echo Trail.

  • From Ely take Highway 169 east 1 mile to County road 88.

  • Turn left, go 2 miles to County Road 116 (Echo Trail).

  • Follow County Road 116 for 14 miles.

General Notes:

The 240 rod portage access to the lake limits the watercraft to canoes.


Parking:

Agassa Lake parking will be to the East in the Angleworm parking area. The portage is across County Road 116 from the parking lot.

There is 1 back country campsite on this lake.

Please use facilities provided such as fire rings, tent pads, and latrines and pack out garbage.
