The Little Isabella Campground is located in a grove of large red and white pines on the Little Isabella River in the central area of the Superior National Forest. There is easy access to the river which is a small stream with occasional riffles. It is stocked with brook trout. This campground is a good one if you are looking for a quiet spot in the woods that is easy to access without the numbers of people that might be in a larger campground.
Maximum of nine people per site. There is space for one vehicle and one towed vehicle (such as a boat trailer). Additional vehicles on the site require additional half fee and must park on the spur. No vehicles may park on the grass or where they impede traffic.
The Little Isabella River provides stream fishing opportunities.
There are 4 long term campsites at Little Isabella which provide for camping beyond the 14 day limit. For fees and further information about long term camping, contact the information center or visit the reservation site, both of which are listed above.
