Eighteen Lake Rustic Campground provides three campsites and a picnic area under red pines on the shore of Eighteen Lake. A trail around the lake and a carry down boat access make this a wonderful spot to spend a weekend in the woods.

Winter camping is allowed, but roads will not be cleared, and water is not available.
This campground does not accept reservations.
There is no fee at rustic campgrounds.
Maximum of nine people per site. There is space for one vehicle and one towed vehicle (such as a boat trailer). Additional vehicles on the site and must park on the spur. No vehicles may park on the grass or where they impede traffic.
No potable water available – lake water must be treated.
Eighteen Lake Rustic Campground is located east of Isabella on Forest Road 369 (Trappers Lake Road)
From MN 61 at Illgen City, turn north on MN 1. Drive approximately 23 miles to Isabella.
At Isabella, MN 1 takes a sharp left. Instead of following MN 1, turn right onto Forest Road 172 (Wanless Road). Drive 1 mile to FR 369 (Trappers Lake Rd).
Turn left on FR 369. Drive two miles to Eighteen Lake Rd.
Turn left on Eighteen Lake Rd.
The campground is at the end of the road, about 1/2 mile.
In addition to the campground, there is a loop trail around Eighteen Lake, a picnic area, and a carry down boat access. There is no garbage pick up at Eighteen Lake Rustic Campground. Plan to pack out all your garbage, including fish remains from cleaning fish.
