General Information

General Notes:

Ninemile Lake can be accessed from a boat ramp with trailer parking at the campground.  It is a lake with islands and good fishing.  There are additional nearby lakes that have carry down accesses.  A hiking trail starts across Co 7 from the campground. The initial 0.5 miles of trail is maintained, followed by an unmaintained 4.5 mile loop.  The unmaintained portion of the trail is difficult to follow and there may be deadfalls across the path.  This portion is recommended only for experienced hikers with advanced wayfinding and backcountry navigation skills who should bring adequate topo maps and a compass.

The campground also has a trail linking campsites at the lake shore, a picnic area, and may have a campground host.
