Wild Plum Campground is located one mile east of Sierra City on Haypress Creek off the Wild Plum Road. There are 47 campsites, piped water, vault toilets, and it is near the Kentucky Mine and Sierra County Historical Park.

From Sierra City: Drive 1 mile east of Sierra City on Hwy 49. Campground is 1 1/2 on Wild Plum Road along Haypress Creek.
