Little Laiser Meadow Horse Campground is an equestrian campground near scenic Jackson Meadow Reservoir. It is surrounded by pines and firs in a pretty setting along a meadow. This location provides a great base camp for a wide range of recreational activities.

Bears frequent the area; all food must be kept in approved containers. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. Utility hookups, showers, telephones and cell phone service are not available at the campground.
The Camp Store at Jackson Meadow is located on the west side of the reservoir near the Woodcamp Recreation Area. A variety of camping and fishing supplies, ice, groceries and souvenirs are available there. The next closest services are in Sierraville, 11 north from Hwy 89 or Truckee, 17 miles south from Hwy 89

From Sierraville: Drive 11 miles south on Hwy 89 to Little Truckee Summit. Turn right on Forest Road 7 and continue toward East Meadow Campground. Follow signs down Forest Road 70 to campground (1.3 miles).
From Truckee: Drive 17 miles north on Hwy 89 to Little Truckee Summit. Turn left on Forest Road 7 and continue toward East Meadow Campground. Follow signs down Forest Road 80 to campground (1.3 miles).
Horse Riding & Camping
There are 11 campsites at this facility that include tables and fire rings. There is a hand pump for water and vault toilets. The horse camp includes a shared corral and hitching posts. Elevation: 6100 feet.
