Boykin Springs

Boykin Springs Recreation Area offers camping, hiking, fishing, picnicking or just getting in touch with nature. A picnic shelter accommodating up to 74 people is available by reservation. The area serves as a trailhead for the Sawmill Hiking Trail.

Reservations: The historic CCC picnic shelter (no electric service) accommodates up to 74 people.  Reservations are required by contacting the National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS) at 877-444-6777 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week or at www.recreation.gov.

General Information

Directions:

From Zavalla, travel east on Highway 63 for 10½  miles; turn right (south) on Forest Service Road 313 for 2½ miles to the campground.


General Notes:

Drinking water is available throughout the campground but there are no sites with water hookups.

The bathhouse offers flush toilets and hot showers.
