Boykin Springs Recreation Area offers camping, hiking, fishing, picnicking or just getting in touch with nature. A picnic shelter accommodating up to 74 people is available by reservation. The area serves as a trailhead for the Sawmill Hiking Trail.
The historic CCC picnic shelter (no electric service) accommodates up to 74 people. Reservations are required by contacting the National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS) at 877-444-6777 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week or at www.recreation.gov.

From Zavalla, travel east on Highway 63 for 10½ miles; turn right (south) on Forest Service Road 313 for 2½ miles to the campground.
Drinking water is available throughout the campground but there are no sites with water hookups.
The bathhouse offers flush toilets and hot showers.
