This is a rustic style 12' X 12' Pan Abode cabin that was constructed in 1964. It has sleeping space for 4 to 6 people. It is located in a lake-filled saddle surrounded by alpine cliffs. This cabin is located in the flightseeing path, with heavy daytime plane traffic May through August. This cabin is no longer available for reservation and is available on a first come first served basis. The cabin is no longer actively maintained by the Forest Service.
