Black Mountain Trail

The Black Mountain trail is 1.3 miles long. It begins at Icehouse Cove (near Carroll Pt.) and ends at Snag Lake (at Waters Edge). The trail is very scenic, passing through muskegs and ending at a beautiful pond. The trail begins at saltwater and rises in short, fairly steep pitches. The tread is in poor shape over most of the length, with many wet spots and rough stretches with many small roots. A mooring buoy is provided for access.
