Gokachin Lake Trailhead

  
The Gokachin Trail is 2.3 miles long. It begins at South Side Of Fish Cr. and trail follows a very scenic route and passing two small lakes, Granite Lake and Star Lake, eventually crossing into Misty Fiords Wilderness. The route is marked for the first 1.5 miles and is comprised of natural tread. This trail requires good route finding skills.

General Information

Directions: This trail is accessible by boat or float plane. The trailhead is located at the head of Thorne Arm near the Fish Creek Cabin, 26 miles from Ketchikan, 20 miles from Mountain Point. A mooring buoy is located near the trailhead. Boaters are cautioned that this buoy offers little protection from south winds.
