The Punchbowl Lake trail is 1.0 miles long. The trail begins with boardwalk and natural tread on a easy grade but it quickly changes and becomes quite steep. There are many switchbacks and wet, rocky areas. At the halfway point the trail branches off to overlook a breathtaking waterfall. The trail ends at Punchbowl Lake where you will find a three sided shelter and an outhouse.

Directions: Punchbowl Cove is located near the mouth of Rudyerd Bay, which branches east off the Behm Canal in Misty Fiords National Monument. The trailhead is at the head of the cove, to the right of the creek. Access is by boat or floatplane. There is also a mooring buoy located in Punchbowl Cove.
