Directions: Shelter is located approximately three miles northeast of Point Ellis on the south side of Bay of Pillars on Kuiu Island.

Dispersed Camping

The Bay of Pillars Shelter is a three-sided Adirondack-style shelter. Use of the shelter for day and overnight is free and first come, first served.

Picnicking

Three-sided shelter is first come, first served and free of charge for day and overnight use.
Fire Information Firewood is not provided.

Boating - Non-Motorized

The shelter can be a stopover for kayak groups accessing Tebenkof Bay.
