Twin Lakes Picnic Site

Located within the Stikine-LeConte Wilderness, the Twin Lakes Picnic site includes two cleared sites with fire rings and a shared outhouse. The site is locally popular in summer months for waterplay and can receive heavy use on warm days when the river level is 18 feet or higher. Wilderness restrictions apply.

General Information

Directions: Site is located via Twin Lakes Slough on the N side of the Stikine River. Access is by shallow draft boat NE of Wrangell and 18 miles up the Stikine River. Low river levels can limit access to the site.
