General Information
Directions: Located on the central eastern side of Admiralty Island. This trail is accessed from the east end of Alexander Lake or West end of Mole Harbor. Shelters are visible from either access point. Transportation to this trail is by float plane, boat, canoe/portage, kayak or skiff from Lake Alexander cabin. Dispersed Camping
3-sided CCC Adirondack-style shelters with gravel floor are on either end of this portage trail on the cross Admiralty Canoe route with numerous tent sites around each shelter. Water source is from a nearby stream treated with a purifier.Day Hiking
