Located on Etolin Island, the Steamer Bay Cabin is an ADA accessible 20' x 20' modified A-frame cabin with a partially covered deck on three sides and mooring buoy. Overlooking Steamer Bay and Clarence Strait, the site provides for excellent beach combing and access to salt water fishing. Amenities include 2 single bunks (1 w/trundle) and full loft for sleeping; wooden table, counter, and benches; and a wood stove for heat. Wood and splitting maul provided. Bring bedding, cook stove, lanterns, and utensils.

Directions: Cabin is located west of Wrangell on Etolin Island in Steamer Bay. Access is 27 miles by boat, or 25 miles by floatplane from Wrangell. Mooring buoy provided.
Steamer Bay is located on Clarence Strait. Check marine weather forecasts when planning your trip. Excellent fishing for halibut (year round), King salmon (May-July), and pink and silver salmon (July-Aug.) in Steamer Bay and Clarence Strait. Clam digging and crabbing in Steamer Bay.
