Kah Sheets Bay Cabin
The Kah Sheets Bay hunter-style cabin has oil (#1 stove oil only) and wood stoves, 4 single bunks, wooden table and benches, pit-type outhouse, axe/maul, covered porch with 2 skylights. Firewood is provided for wood stove use only, but is not guaranteed. Stove oil, bedding, and cooking utensils are not provided. The area surrounding the cabin is mostly flat muskeg; there is a 776' (236 m) hill between the Kah Sheets Bay and Kah Sheets Lake cabins.

Directions:Mouth of Kah Sheets Creek, south end of Kupreanof Island.
General Notes:
Visitors who wish to explore the area by boat need to have at least a 14-foot tide to navigate the area in front of the cabin.

The area surrounding the cabin is mostly flat muskeg; there is a 776' (236 m) hill between the Kah Sheets Bay and Kah Sheets Lake cabins. Occupancy of Forest Service cabins is by permit only. Reservations may be made up to 180 days in advance.

Day Hiking
The 2.5-mile long Kah Sheets Lake Trail connects the Kah Sheets Bay Cabin to the Kah Sheets Lake Cabin, and accesses fishing holes along the route.
