Trollers Cove Cabin

14' x 14' Pan Abode cedar log cabin with small covered porch on scenic shore. Bottom fishing, salmon trolling off 20 Fathom Bank. Cove used as anchorage by commercial, pleasure boats. Numerous small lakes in hills behind cabin. Waterfalls in nearby coves. Bear, deer hunting. Spiral Cove (north) known for scenery. Cabin sleeps up to 4, wood stove (wood sometimes provided), outhouse, mooring buoy. Bring your own Sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cooking stove, lantern, pots, pans, plates, utensils, food, toilet paper, garbage bags and fire starter. It's a good idea to bring your own water.

General Information

Directions: Approximately 38 miles from Ketchikan and 21 air miles east of Craig. Access is by floatplane or boat. Refer to USGS Craig B-1.

Big Game Hunting

Wildlife includes Sitka black-tailed deer, black bears and wolves. Hunting for these species in designated seasons. Review Alaska Department of Fish and Game hunting and fishing regulations.

Boating - Motorized

The waters around the cabin offer excellent opportunities for crabbing, wildlife viewing, saltwater fishing, and recreational boating. A mooring buoy is located a short distance from the cabin.

Boating - Non-Motorized

A mooring buoy is provided near the cabin, and a raft or kayak can be used to access shore. Kayaking around Troller's Cove offers an excellent opportunity for fishing and wildlife viewing.
