A primitive boat launch and small parking area provide access to the southeast end of Neck Lake. Special Features: One of the largest lakes on the north end of the island, Neck Lake provides many recreation opportunities. Fish along the bank for dolly Varden and cutthroat trout, or put in a small skiff, float tube, canoe, or kayak to explore and fish other parts of the lake. A world class cutthroat trout fishery makes this an ideal destination for the avid sport fisherman. Camping allowed at site.

Directions: The access site is located on Forest Road 25 approximately 6 road miles from Whale Pass. USGS Map Petersburg A-4.

The primitive boat ramp allows users to launch their own smaller skiff to fish, hunt, or otherwise enjoy Neck Lake. Canoeing and kayaking are also good options.
