Cabin Rentals
The boardwalk trail to the Garnet Ledge was destroyed by the extensive blowdown behind the cabin in 2005. Access to Garnet Ledge is along beach to trail on private land owned by First Presbyterian Church of Wrangell.

Viewing Wildlife
Bald eagles, sea lions, harbor seals, various gulls concentrate on the tide flats during the hooligan run in April. Brown and black bears and moose can be seen in the area.Rockhounding
Special attraction of the site is garnet outcropping nearby. The outcropping and the land surrounding it is private land owned by the First Presbyterian Church of Wrangell on behalf of the children of Wrangell.
