This site is shaded with large sycamore and Arizona white oak. Views of the Pinal Mountains. A scenic riparian area with a small stream that runs through the site except in the dryer months. This small, quaint site was originally constructed in 1940.

Stay limit 14 days, no trailers, reservations required, IMPORTANT! Use of this site requires special authorization by the Globe Ranger District Office. Fires in designated areas only. Pack it in pack it out, dispose of waste properly, leave what you find, minimize campfire impacts. 5 picnic units w/ tables & grills, 1 group fire ring, 25 people max. per unit.

This site is 5 miles southwest of Globe. Follow Jess Hayes Road southeast of Globe to the junction of Icehouse Canyon Road/Forest Road (FR) 112 and Sixshooter Canyon Road/Forest Road (FR) 222. Continue on FR 112 for 3 miles to the junction of FR 55 and FR 112. Take the right fork and continue following FR 55 for another 3 miles to the site. Click Here For Map.
