Timber Camp Group Campground is one of the most popular group campgrounds on Tonto National Forest. It offers both Day-use sites and over-night areas. The Group Campgrounds allow for large get-togethers and carry all of the basic amenities. Located within a ponderosa pine stand, Timber Camp offers a cool get away from the hot summer months. Close proximity to Upper Salt River access which makes it a fun location for boaters. Site is adjacent to US Highway 60.

Stay limit 14 days, trailers under 45', Single camping for equestrian campers only when not reserved for group use, reservations required, pack it in pack it out, day visitor must use day-use picnic areas, 50 person maximum for each site. Your reservation is valid from noon the first day to 11 a.m. the last day. Tonto passes for day-use only sites must be purchased at off-site vendors (check website for details). No on-site pass sales. Tonto Pass users must depart before the end of the day, unless a reservation is made.
