This moderate-sized campground is located adjacent to 28-acre Bull Prairie Lake, which is stocked annually with trout. This is a lovely spot to spend a day or more fishing, hiking or just relaxing in sunshine under the tall pines. There are free day-use picnic areas along the lakeshore adjacent to the campground. A paved loop trail around the lake and several small docks provide accessibility for all.

While the water is not working fees will be reduces to $10:00 per night single site and $15 per night double site. Whe water is turned back on the fees will be $14.00 per night single site, $19 per night double site, $28 per night group site. An additional $5 "per extra vehicle" fee will be charged for each vehicle exceeding the maximum two vehicle per site allowance. Fees will not be charged when the water system is turned off (mid-October).

From Heppner: travel south on Highway 207 for approximately 36 miles. Turn east on Forest Service Road 2039 and follow signs to Bull Prairie Recreational Area .
There is a 1.2 mile paved trail that loops around the lake, together with 4 accessible fishing docks.
