Located just off the historic Kendall-Skyline Road, this high-level campground offers 6 campsites to choose from that are in close proximity to several wilderness trailheads. Spend your days hiking in the beautiful and scenic Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness and your nights relaxing in this tranquil and secluded campground. Mottet even offers clear, cold, and delicious drinking water, straight from a mountain spring!

2014 Fall Operating Schedule: The water system will be tested in October. Camping fees will not be charged after October 15. Water will not be tested in November so the water should be boiled prior to use. Camping fees will be charged through October 15. Mottet will close for the season on November 30, 2014.
An overnight camping fee of $8.00 will be charged. An additional $5 "per extra vehicle" fee will be charged for each vehicle exceeding the maximum two vehicle per site allowance.

From Weston, Oregon: Travel 20 miles east of Weston on Highway 204, Turn left (north) on Forest Service Road 64. Follow the road for 16 miles to the junction with Forest Service Road 6403. Turn left (east) on Forest Service Road 6403 and travel 1 mile to campground's entrance on your left.
From Elgin, Oregon: Travel 21 miles northwest of Elgin on Highway 204, Turn right (north) on Forest Service Road 64. Follow the road for 16 miles to the junction with Forest Service Road 6403. Turn left (east) on Forest Service Road 6403 and travel 1 mile to campground's entrance on your left.
