Clearwater Falls

Located along the Rogue-Umpqua National Scenic Byway corridor. Here the Clearwater River dances through old growth Douglas-fir forest painting a picture in bright, moist greens and froths of white.

  • No garbage disposal - Please pack it out

Reservations: First come, first served
  • $10 for campsite
  • $5 for extra vehicle

  • Quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
  • Campfires in developed fire pits only  
  • Fireworks are prohibited
  • Dogs must be on leash 
  • OHV/ATV use prohibited in the campground
  • Maximum length of stay: 14 days

General Information


From Roseburg, OR, turn onto OR-138 east / northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and follow approximately 70 miles. Turn south off Highway 138 at the Clearwater Falls Campground sign. There are two areas for camping. The first area is to your left after you pass the entry sign. To get to the second location get on the Highway heading east for approximately 1 mile. Turn right onto Road 4785 for 1 mile. Camping area is off to the right.
