Located near the Rogue-Umpqua divide off of the scenic road between Tiller and Trail. It is a higher elevation campground shaded by an open stand of large pine and fir.

From Canyonville, OR take West 1st Street and turn onto SE 23d St./OR-227. Continue to follow OR-227 approximately 23 miles until you reach Tiller, OR. Cross the bridge and the Tiller Ranger Station will be on your left.

From the Tiller Ranger Station take county road #1 south for 13 miles to Threehorn Campground. The entrance is on the left side of the road.
