Stansbury Front Trail


USGS Quad: North Willow Canyon, Timpie Southeast, Deseret Peak Northeast and Deseret Peak East. Single Track Vehicles. Leashed pets are permitted. No handicap facilities are available. Trail runs along the foothills below the Stansbury Range. One terminus or the other would be the major attraction. Trail junctions include Box Canyon-West Canyon and Mining Fork Trails. The trail is still incomplete in sections, but travel is still possible. This route has been maintained as a primitive trail.

Restrictions: Backcountry skiing and snowshoeing are not permitted. This trail parallels the Deseret Peak Wilderness, so follow proper rules and regulations.

General Information

Directions:

Follow directions to South Willow Canyon then head into the canyon towards the signs for Boy Scout Campground and Medina Flats Trailhead. The trail heads North to the West Canyon Trailhead (app 12.5 miles) then South to the Big Hollow Trailhead (app 12.5 miles). Note: This trail is open to Single Track (motorcycle) travel.
