General Information
Directions: Follow directions to South Willow Canyon and continue south 1 mile past the intersection to the next gravel service road that heads west toward the mountains. Follow the road for about 5 miles till it turns into trail. Note no signs or trailhead facilities available. The Box Elder Canyon Trail can be accessed by two wheel drive vehicles. The trail begins at the end of the road and heads up Abbots Fork. The Box Elder Canyon Trail heads to the north side of Box Elder Pass, but past Mud Spring the trail is difficult to follow. This trail has been maintained as a primitive trail.
