Kenny Creek Trail

USGS Quad - Fort Douglas. Leashed pets are permitted. Major destinations are overlook areas. The Kenny Creek Trail begins at the Mueller Park Picnic Area, winds its way northeast through fairly heavy oakbrush stands, several open meadows, and tops out on the ridge separating Morgan County and Davis County. The view along the lower part of the trail is severely limited due to heavy vegetation cover, but as you gain elevation in the upper end it opens up allowing a much better view of the mountains. Due to the exposure, summer time mid-day temperatures can be very warm. Early morning and evening are more enjoyable times to hike this trail. This route has been maintained as a primitive trail. This is a non-accessible, simple/minor developed trail.
