Slate Canyon Trail #061
Slate Canyon climbs steadily on an old road bed. Several spectacular cliff bands add unique character to the scenery along the trail. The trail heads east for 2.7 miles, then north 1 mile up hill to connect in with the Slide Canyon trail #062.

From I-15 exit #265, head east on Center St toward 1000 W St. At the traffic circle, continue straight onto Center St, and then turn left onto 900 E St. Turn right onto 820 N St, and continue onto Oakmont Ln. Turn right onto Oak Cliff Dr. and then turn right to stay on Oak Cliff Dr. Turn right at Terrace Dr., then turn left and take the next right into the Parking lot; park only in designated spots.
