Popular activities include; overnight camping for visitors travelling across the state, picnicking, exploring along the byway and OHV riding at the adjacent Oregon OHV Trailhead of the Blue Mountain OHV Trail System

Directions:

From Unity, Oregon head west on Highway 26 for 12 miles towards Prairie City and John Day, Oregon; The campground entrance is on the right side of the highway.
