Union Creek Picnic Area
Located within the Union Creek Recreation Area, the Union Creek Picnic Area is set in a mature pine forest overlooking Phillips Lake. Popular activities include group picnics, day hiking along the lake shore, fishing, and boating. The recreation area also includes the Union Creek Campground and Union Creek Boat Launch.

General Information
Directions:From Baker City, Oregon travel south on Highway 7 towards John Day, Oregon for about 18 miles; The campground and day-use entrance is signed on the left side of the road; Follow the signs in the Union Creek Recreation Area down through the campground tpast the boat launch to the picnic area.
