Sycamore Trailhead
This trailhead is part of the Monday Creek OHV Trail System. The Monday Creek area of the Wayne National Forest provides some excellent opportunities for riding off-highway vehicles (OHVs). This trail system, north of Nelsonville, provides approximately 75 miles of designated trails to off-highway vehicle riders, mountain bikers, and hikers. Loading ramps are available at the New Straitsville and White Oak Trailheads.

To find this trailhead: follow signs off Highway 33, approximately 2 mi. south of intersection of Hwy 595 and Highway 33.

Over the past four years, 18 old wooden bridges on the Monday Creek OHV Trail System have been upgraded to concrete or steel trail bridges. Additionally, restroom facilities at trailheads along the the Monday Creek OHV Trail System have been upgraded to meet accessibility requirements.

Activities
Mountain Biking
All 75 miles of the Monday Creek Trail System are availabe to all-terrain vehicles, off-highway motorcycles, mountain bikes, and hikers.
Dispersed Camping
Camping is allowed at the trailheads for the ATV trails from during the trail open season.
Day Hiking
This trail is designed primarily for All-terrain vehicles and off-highway motorcycles but hikers are welcome. Loops of a variety of lengths offer hikers many different distances depending on the time they have available.
OHV Camping
Camping is allowed at all of the campsites on the Monday Creek OHV System, but only during the OHV and mountain biking open season. Please do not limit others' use of the area with your campsite.
