Mead Base provides ample parking. The Wentworth Trail starts behind the historic home at Mead Base Conservation Center and reaches the summit of Mt. Israel (2,630 ft.) in 2.1 miles and 1,700 ft of elevation gain.

The Friends of Mead Base Conservation Center preserves and maintains the buildings and property for the public's use.  This site includes 3 campsites.  All reservations and information are managed by the Friends of Mead Base Conservation Center.
