The Gore Lake trail is 2.0 miles long. It begins about 4 miles up the Gore Creek Trail #2015 and ends at Gore Lake. See the description for the Gore Creek Trail #2015 for a description and directions to the beginning of that trail.

Take Exit 180 from I-70 for East Vail. If traveling eastbound, turn right at the bottom of off-ramp. If traveling westbound, turn left at the bottom of the off ramp. Continue east down Bighorn Road almost to the end, approximately 2.5 miles. The trailhead for Gore Creek Trail #2015 is on the left before you reach the Gore Creek campground. Park here and hike 4 miles to where the Gore Lake Trail splits left off Gore Creek Trail. Parking is limited. Please park at the trailhead, not at the campground.
