Area Status: Closed

The trail gradually climbs up to the ridgeline and then continues along the ridge. It passes through a small meadow that provides the hiker a good

vista of the Fall Creek area and a viewpoint that offers a view of Little Cowhorn Mountain, located to the northeast.

The trail traverses the head of Bedrock Creek and Slick Creek before descending through thick stands of young trees to Forest Road 1817.
