Echo Basin Trail #3410
The attraction of this hike is the old-growth Alaska Yellow Cedar scattered along the trail — probably the largest trees of this species in the area.
After leaving the cedars, the trail breaks out into a natural amphitheater made of an open wet meadow surrounded by basin headwalls. Late spring visitors will witness a colorful array of wildflowers. New boardwalks through wet meadows have been added to protect sensitive plants.
