Scott Trail is located within the Three Sisters Wilderness. The trail intersects a moderately forested area and passes over lava flows and alpine meadows. This trail accesses the Pacific Crest National Recreation Trail.

Directions:

From McKenzie River Ranger District, drive east on Highway 126 about 2 miles to the junction of Highway 242. Travel about 17 miles on Highway 242 to Scott Trailhead.

This trail may be used as a route for travelers accessing the Obsidian Limited Entry Area. Limited Entry Permits for the Obsidian Area are required in advance of trip. There is parking space at the trailhead for stock truck/trailer combinations.
