Scott Mountain Trail #4339

Beginning at Benson Lake Trail #3502 in Mt. Washington Wilderness, Scott Mountain Trail #4339 begins a climb on the southern base of Scott Mountain, looping up the eastern side of the mountain. Early spring snow remains on the upper parts of this trail until a late thaw. The trail continues around the north side of Scott Mountain, opening out of the mixed conifer alpine forest into open meadows and visitas of the surrounding mountains. Scott Mountain Trail #4339 then reaches its terminus at the summit of Scott Mountain.
