Directions:From Blue River, OR, travel 4 miles east on Highway 126 and turn right onto Forest Road 19 (Aufderheide). Continue right at the Y junction for 3 miles to the top of Cougar Reservoir. At the reservoir, continue south on Forest Road 19 for 25.5 miles and turn left (east) onto Forest Road 1958. Continue east up this road to Roaring Ridge North Trailhead at the end of the road on top of the ridge.
