Triangulation Peak Trail #3374


The trail meanders through older Douglas-Fir and Western Hemlock. There are abundant wildflowers along rocky openings. From the old lookout location there are excellent views of Mt. Jefferson and the Cascades.

Current Conditions: This trail is in an area impacted by the Beachie Creek and & Lionshead Fires. Before visiting areas affected by wildfire, make sure to review the 4 Steps for Safety for recreating in burned areas.

Fees: $5/vehicle/day or a valid recreation pass. No payment accepted onsite.
Permit Info: There are two types of entry permits required between June 15 and October 15 for entering the Mt. Jefferson Wilderness from the Triangulation Trailhead.

    • Free, self-issue Wilderness Permit (available at the trailhead) between June 15 and October 15.

  • Access is from Triangulation Trailhead
  • From the trailhead, hike along Triangulation Trail #3373 for about 1.5 miles to the Triangulation Peak Trail junction.
