Frissel Trail #3512

  

This is an out of the way and slightly used trail. It climbs continuously to Frissel Ridge and offers the hiker outstanding vistas of the McKenzie River Valley. The trail can also be accessed from Road 1506, offering a shuttle opportunity for those who wish to hike one way.

General Information

Directions:

From McKenzie River Ranger Station drive west on Highway 126 about 3 miles to Forest Road 2600-705 (look for refuse disposal sign on the right). Turn right at the first fork. After 1 mile, the road forks again. Stay to the right on Road 2633-700. At the junction of the private road, turn to the left on Road 2633-704. Drive ¾ of a mile to the end of the road where the trail begins.
