REDDING – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 2 along with contractor Dig It Construction, Inc. from Chester, CA will be closing portions of State Route 32 in Tehama County to make highway safety improvements in the area.
Work on the $2.9 million Deer Creek Realignment Project is scheduled to begin on July 15, 2013, 2.5 miles west of the junction of State Routes 32 and 36 near the Elam Campground. One way traffic control will be in effect Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two weeks.
Pursuant to 16 USC 551 and 36 CFR 261.50(a) and (b), the prohibitions listed in Forest Order No. 06-13-04, applicable to the Lassen National Forest, dated July 16, 2013, and signed by Acting Forest Supervisor Christopher J. O’Brien are hereby terminated by me, Acting Forest Supervisor Christopher J. O’Brien, as of September 27, 2013.
