Lake Powhatan Campground

  

Located in the Pisgah National Forest, Lake Powhatan Campground is a wooded site on the banks of Lake Powhatan. The campground borders the 6,000 acre Bent Creek Experimental Forest, a haven for bicyclists.

Usage: Heavy
Restrictions: Reservations must be made 4 days in advance. Must occupy site within first 24 hours or forfeit site. Fires only in fire rings provided. Pets must remain on leash. Quiet hours 10PM to 7AM.No boats allowed on lake The maximum number of vehicles / people per site are 2 vehicles / 8 persons. There is a $5.00 for each additional vehicle. Camping equipment must fit on the site.
