Luna Lake Overview

Luna Lake Campground can best be described as a pleasant vacation neighborhood with open forest, lush meados, a lake with great fishing, first rate mountain scenery and additional recreation facilities located within easy travel distance. This friendly camp is located in an open stand of ponderosa pines within easy walking distance of Luna Lake.

General Information

Directions:

Directions from Alpine: Drive five miles east on US Highway 180 and turn north (left) on Forest Road 570 just east of Luna Lake. This graveled all-weather road leads one mile to the campground.


General Notes:
  • 50 Single unit sites
  • Trailers and motorhomes up to 32 feet length
  • Utility hookups are not available
  • Only two motorized vehicles per site
  • Pets must be restrained or on a leash
  • Operated by a concessionaire
  • Near Alpine for shopping and services
  • Tables, fire rings, and cooking grills
  • Convenient motor home/trailer parking
  • Tackle shop and boat rental concessionaire at lake
  • Trash dumpsters (Memorial Day-Labor Day)
