Elk Lake Campground


Elk Lake Campsite

Elk Lake Campground is an older style small hill side campground. It is on the north end of Elk Lake and offers opportunities for fishing and access to hiking and horseback riding trails.

There is a boat launch area within this campground. Parking is extremely limited at this boat launch.

Directions: From Bend, travel 33.1 miles southwest on Cascade Lakes Hwy (46) to north end of Elk Lake.

Campground Camping

Elk Lake Campground is an older style small hill side campground that is popular with tent campers.  There are four tent only sites near the water. There is a pressurized water system and two modern CXT vault style bathrooms. There is cell phone coverage and the roads are paved within the campground. There is a day use area at the water front with a boat ramp.

RV Camping

This site is probably not the best for RV campers with RVs or trailers over 30 feet (except host site if unoccupied). The roads are somewhat difficult to navigate and the spurs are small.
