Secure Rural Schools: Resource Advisory Committee (RAC)

The Dixie National Forest RAC recommended and the Forest Service approved over $1 million in RAC projects in 2011.  Most of these projects will be implemented in 2012 and will benefit a wide variety of forest users and forest resources.  The projects will also provide benefits to the many communities surrounding the Dixie National Forest.

As we implement the Motorized Travel Plan, recreationists can expect changes to the roads and trails. Travel outside of the designated system is no longer allowed on the Forest.
