Treadwell Ditch Trail Bridge Replacement

Replacement/construction of 38 bridges on Treadwell Ditch Trail, construction of two reroutes and one section of gravel tread. Please join us for a PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE on this project on March 10, 2014, 5:30-7:30 pm at the Juneau Ranger District Office, 8510 Mendenhall Loop Road. Agenda: Brief presentations at 5:30 and 6:30, time for questions and answers, and write or drop off comments.

Location Summary

The bridge replacements will occur on the Treadwell Ditch Trail (Forest Service Trail Number 33718) on Douglas Island in Juneau, AK between Blue Berry Hills and Bonnie Brae.

These three proposals, Lena Beach Recreation Area Renovation, West Glacier Spur Road Area Enhancements, and Treadwell Ditch Trail Bridge Construction, are all intended to improve recreation conditions, and safety at popular Juneau recreation sites. This letter is a request for your input on the proposed adjustments.
