This project would authorize upland and riparian thinning treatments, road storage and improvement projects, and aquatic habitat improvement projects, on the mainstem Twelvemile Creek.

      The Twelvemile Creek rehabilitation plan includes the mainstem, the tributary stream, Cave Creek, and the inter-tidal basins. The inter-tidal basins are the basins that flow into the low tide Twelvemile Creek estuarine channel. The 12,800 acre (20 mi2) basin area corresponds to the 6th level HUC 19 01 01 03 05 01. The basin is located approximately nine miles southwest of the town of Hollis and approximately eight miles northeast of Hydaburg.
