Deer Mountain Trail Reconstruction

Improve natural tread, install trail markings and rock drainages, and make the steepest sections of trail safe. Steeper sections may require blasting steps, boulders, or ledges, and may require short reroutes to make safe or avoid resource damage.

Location Summary

Most of the trail follows a north/south alpine ridge to the east of Ketchikan and lies within the Revilla IRA (#524). Accessible by road from both ends.

District: Ketchikan - Misty Ranger District
